Is KasiCart free?
Yes, for shoppers it is free, with no adverts. Shops can pay for a clearly labelled “Featured” spot; that never changes the order of prices.
Where do the prices come from?
From shoppers’ till slips and shelf photos, from shops that list their own prices, from shops’ public websites and from official price lists. Every price shows how old it is.
Do I need a new account if I use TellKasi?
No. KasiCart and TellKasi share one account: sign in with the same email and password.
Do I have to install anything?
No. KasiCart works in your phone’s browser. You can add it to your home screen for a full-screen app that opens instantly.
What happens to my slips and lists?
They are yours. Prices you add help neighbours but never show your name. You can download everything we hold, or delete your account, at any time.
Which areas does it cover?
All of South Africa. Prices are richest where people share them, so every slip you add makes your area better for everyone.
